Aaron B. Mjelstad, O.D.
Dr. Aaron Mjelstad, a North Dakota native, attended the University of North Dakota and received his B.S. in Visual Sciences from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. Dr. Mjelstad received his Doctor of Optometry in 2000 from Pacific University College of Optometry, where he graduated with Honors. Dr. Mjelstad is licensed in the use of therapeutic and diagnostic pharmaceutical agents. He has extensive clinical experience and training from the Teplick Laser Center in Beaverton, OR, Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, AZ, and Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Wailuku, Maui, HI. Dr. Mjelstad provides comprehensive eye examinations as well as contact lens fittings, LASIK evaluations, and sports vision evaluations. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys most outdoor activities. He resides in Minnetrista with his wife Kim and three children.
Nathan Langemo, O.D.
Dr. Nathan Langemo joined Excelsior Eye Care in 2012. Originally from Fargo, ND, he received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2008 and then attended the Pacific University College of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry in 2012. During his time at Pacific University, he completed internships with honors at Allina Medical Center in Coon Rapids, MN, Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center in Centennial, CO, Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, FL and Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut in Fairfield, CT. During optometry school he specialized in Sports Vision and was published in the Journal of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Langemo is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and is board certified by the Minnesota Optometric Association. Dr. Langemo provides primary eye care including contact lens exams, Sports Vision examinations, LASIK and cataract evaluations and co-management. Dr. Langemo lives in Minnetonka with his wife and daughter. He enjoys staying active by running, biking, and fishing.
